Players can “air” the driver out on the long par 5 that is #3.  A generous landing area is available as the tee shot plays slightly downhill to a large fairway which slopes from left to right.  A long hitter has a chance to go for the green in 2 but be careful as a wide arroyo protects the green about 20 yards short of the green.  Most players will lay-up and be aware of the pin locations when doing so.  If the pin is in the back left of the green, players will want to lay-up to the left side of the fairway which will require a longer club as  a fairway bunker about 160 yards from the green must be carried.  Avoid hitting your approach long.
